This programme should run on any version of Windows from Windows NT and later. However it has been developed under Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 3 applied. It has also been tested on NT4, 2000, Vista and Windows 7..
It will not run under earlier versions of Windows or any other non-Windows operating system unless a suitable Windows emulator is available. If you have enabled "Large Fonts" in the advanced settings for your display, you may not be able to see the whole form. Should that be the case, right click on the "Desktop", choose Settings, Advanced and choose small fonts.
The programme requires at least a true colour display with at least 1024x768 pixel resolution. It uses what are called "memory mapped files" to hold large images, so that it should run even on older machines with modest amounts of memory.
Navigation in an image is best when a two button wheel mouse is available. The wheel may be used for zooming in and out of an image. A small navigation window is also displayed.
